Professional Development

Y&E offers tailored programs and resources to enhance members' skills, knowledge, and confidence in their professional endeavors. We host bi-monthly programming (available in-person and virtually) that includes career skills presentations covering topics like salary negotiations, career transition, interview preparation, imposter syndrome, entrepreneurship and more. These leadership development sessions are hosted at various women-owned businesses/mission-aligned organizations across the valley to promote community engagement and awareness. Programming consists of an agenda that empowers our members to showcase their personal/professional wins and successes through member spotlights.

Annual Empow[her] Conference

For four years, Young & Empowered Women has hosted a one-of-a-kind event to bring together emerging leaders from across the Valley for a day of professional and personal development and networking. We are joined by speakers who boast a wide array of professional experience across the fields of higher education, public health, politics, law, and more.
