Who We Are
Young & Empowered Women (Y&E) was created to connect and empower emerging female leaders from various sectors at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when networking and career coaching would need to be redefined.
Y&E founder, Veronica Aguilar wanted to directly mentor and bring together diverse women to achieve their personal and professional goals. After the kickoff meeting in July 2020, the members knew this group was something special.

The Problem
The systemic inequities and barriers for women and women of color face, limit the ability for them to compete and succeed in the labor force, receive higher lifetime earnings and create opportunities for personal and professional growth
Our Solution
To raise awareness and educate others on women’s rights, empowerment and equity through career development sessions, mentorship and networking opportunities that provide the tools and skills needed to overcome the systemic barriers
Our members receive one on one career coaching to make informed decisions about their career trajectory and receive personalized soft and technical skill development. Our monthly conversations cover a variety of hot topics and skill development.
