Young & Empowered Women Receives State Forty Eight Foundation Entrepreneurship Grant

Young & Empowered Women (Y&E) has received a $3,000 grant from the State Forty Eight Foundation. This funding will go to support the organization’s work providing growth opportunities to a diverse group of rising female leaders and pushing forward women’s rights, empowerment and equity.

"We are thrilled to receive this generous grant from the State Forty Eight Foundation, which will significantly bolster our efforts in supporting and uplifting the next generation of female leaders," said Veronica Aguilar, Founder and Chair for Y&E. "This grant will help us expand our outreach and provide even more opportunities for young women to connect, grow, and excel in their careers."

The State Forty Eight Foundation Entrepreneurship Grant program aims to fund small Arizona-based businesses for launch, growth or expansion. Since its founding in 2020, Y&E has grown to over 130 active members representing diverse sectors.

Through three pillars of professional development, mentorship, and networking, Y&E empowers women across the Valley. Notably, 28% of members have achieved career promotions since joining the organization.
